She is at the same school and in the same class room as Cooper, and I'm so grateful. Their teacher, Mrs Beeler, is an absolute treasure. Cooper has been in her class since he started pre-K in August last year, and he just thinks she hung the moon.
I was a little nervous how Macie would do, but she's never met a stranger, so today was no different. I had everything laid out last night so there wouldn't be any hiccups this morning, and everything went great. We were a couple minutes late, but it wasn't too bad.
Mrs Beeler met us in the office and walked with Macie to the class room. Once they got to the classroom, Macie pretty much didn't even look back. She did so great.
Mrs Beeler emailed me and said that Macie told her she wanted to come home after lunch, so she explained the rest of the day's routine, and Macie was fine after that.
The kids rode the school bus home and Macie liked that too, so the whole day was pretty great!
